About this tool

Use it to

  • Create an address for a new hire that matches the convention everyone else is on
  • Work out which part of an unfamiliar name is the family name before provisioning an account
  • Generate addresses for a whole roster at once and export them as CSV
  • Compare first.last, flast and the other conventions side by side before committing to one
A name with a particle
Kristina De Armas is not Kristina Armas with a middle name of De. The particle belongs to the family name, so first.last gives kristina.dearmas — not kristina.de or kristina.armas.
Two family names
Eugenia Marino Davila carries a paternal and a maternal surname, the Spanish and Portuguese pattern. Marino is the one she goes by, so the tool reads it that way and offers the middle-name reading if this person is an exception.
