SMTP Tester
Verify SMTP credentials and send a real test email from any mail server
SMTP server
Pick a provider to autofill the connection settings, or choose Custom for any SMTP host. Nothing is stored — credentials are used only for this one connection.
Credentials are sent over HTTPS to our server, used for a single SMTP connection, and never logged or saved.
Test message
The test email is sent to a single recipient — usually your own inbox — so you can confirm it actually arrives.
Sending a test email requires a free account. Verifying a connection works without one.
How it works:This tool opens a real SMTP connection from our server to the host you specify, using the exact credentials and encryption you enter — pure SMTP, no provider APIs. “Verify connection only” runs the handshake and login without sending mail; “Send test email” delivers a message so you can confirm end-to-end delivery.
About this tool
Use it to
- Confirm SMTP host, port, username, and password before wiring them into an app
- Send a real test email to verify end-to-end that messages reach the inbox
- Debug authentication and connection errors straight from the raw SMTP response
- Compare STARTTLS (587) and implicit TLS (465) when a provider will not connect
- Verify new credentials
- Pick your provider to autofill the host and port, paste your username and API key, then use "Verify connection only" to confirm login works before sending anything.
- Send yourself a test
- Enter a verified From address and your own inbox as the recipient, then send a test email to confirm messages actually arrive — check the spam folder too.
